The use of technology such as e-doc signing and text message updates made this transaction pain free. My only hiccup was a little more communication if something arises, even if it's on the builder... overcommunication would be better than under. Short of that, Austin's team was top notch.

    Things got much better once our file was turned over to Trishia. Our experience with Ale was a disaster. We were given wrong information on multiple occasions from the start (inconsistent numbers between a phone call to the follow up email) to the time when our file was transferred over due to a massive mistake. We didn't have a lot of faith until the check was in our hands from the title company. Glad to be done.

    Our whole experience was colored by the clerical error at closing that delayed us by nearly an hour and cost us an unanticipated $120 to close. We chose Fairway because they are the preferred lender of our home builder, Arbor Homes, and that came with some small benefits. However, I felt the fees were high and other related costs muted the benefit of the builder credits. Having worked with multiple mortgage companies through the years, Fairway falls in the lower third overall.

    I was on edge waiting to find out if I could close. I found out that I could close 50 minutes before scheduled time. The last minute requests that were asked of me could have been taken care of several days before my closing event. I am not sure why I was brought to so much stress at the last minute. Fairway did get the job done so I can't complain to much. I have to say Erin Lux did a wonderful job communicating with me and letting me know everything expected.

    Just a smooth overall process!! There was one problem that I was extremely disappointed about. Her name was Maria I believe last name Rogers? She sent me an email and I had a question and left her a voicemail after 24 hours she hadn’t returned my call. So I called again and got her, she seemed put out with the call. I requested two documents be sent to me and said she would do it. They never arrived. Her greeting on her voicemail is “you got my cell” very professional!!

    Im a first time home buyer and many people say its a painfull process... It may be if not in the right hands. Austin contacted me very soon after I put a request in. Other lenders in the past haven't guided me or informed me in the direction I needed to go to accomplish what I had to do during the process. So i wouldnt get approved or wouldnt get anywhere at all. I am not closing on my first home and it was a new construction. My credit isnt the best and he made it happen I didnt have to question him a 1000 different times cause he always kept me up to date and gave me all the info it was a very easy process with Austin leading me the way. I think his team greatly. And would highley reccomend him and his team any day. Stephanie great job too.

    This was not my first home buying experience but it was by far the best and easiest. From accepted offer to clear to close was 19 days. Austin Larr and team knocked it out of the park!! I got to spend the last week before the scheduled closing date focusing on other things. Doing a VA loan in the middle of a government shut down with no delays was impressive. Using the app made submitting documents simple and the email and app notifications took all the guess work out of where my loan was in the process.     I worked with Brad Lux for a whole year before closing! From the very beginning he was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I appreciated his straightforward, direct answers to questions and gave great advice.     Austin was always there for us and always had the answers to our questions. He was very professional and truly worked hard to help us through the finish line of obtaining a a home mortgage. We never had any issues and the process was streamed lined and easy to do. I have taken out a number of mortgages but found that getting a mortgage with Austin to be the most enjoyable of any. I would highly recommend Austin to everyone and plan on giving his card to friends and family!
